OmniOutliner for iPad 1.4.1 fixes a critical issue supporting date formats that use forward slashes when saving audio recordings.

OmniOutliner for iPad 1.3.1

OmniOutliner for iPad 1.3.1 is a small maintenance update that improves iOS 6 compatibility and fixes a few critical bugs.

        <p><span class="feature-section">Bug Fixes</span></p>   
        <ul>
            <li>In-progress edits will once again be saved when the app is backgrounded.</li>
            <li>Fixed a case were mixed-state values in the built-in status column could get corrupted and stuck to the 'none'/blank state.</li>  
            <li>Interacting with checkboxes or pop-up columns in a different row than the currently selected one should no longer result in crashing or your view of the outline jumping position.</li>
            <li>Collapsing a section that contains the row currently being edited will correctly end editing first.</li>
            <li>Toolbar buttons on the Find popover are now correctly disabled when it first appears.</li>         
            <li>On-screen keyboard will correctly respond to split gestures on iOS 6.</li>       
            <li>Folder names that contain "." in the WebDAV file browser will no longer be truncated.</li>

OmniOutliner for iPad 1.3 adds easier configuration for the Omni Sync Server, automatically zips files when using Send to App, and displays touch events while using AirPlay Mirroring. (This release requires iOS 5.1)

            <li>Omni Sync Server is now a preconfigured option for import and export servers.</li>
            <li>When using the Send to App function, OmniOutliner 3 documents will be zipped to improve compatibility with other apps. Zipped documents can already be opened by OmniOutliner for iPad.</li>
            <li>Touch events will appear when using AirPlay Mirroring.</li>
            <li>Added a button to clear the field when renaming a document while it is loaded.</li>
            <li>All popovers have had a slight design overhaul.</li>
            <li>Adjusted the layout of the top toolbar buttons. </li>

        <p><span class="feature-section">Bug Fixes</span></p>

            <li>Fixed a possible scenario where if the application was terminated after making editor state changes and using undo, the changes from the undo were lost.</li>            
            <li>Selecting options after tapping on multiple column headers in a row will no longer lead to a crash.</li>
            <li>A couple crashes were fixed that could occur when tapping multiple buttons at the same time.</li>
            <li>Row numbering will now correctly display when the viewport reloads due to scrolling through long documents.</li>
            <li>Fixed an issue with sometimes not being able to reject autocorrect suggestions under certain circumstances.</li>
            <li>Documents created on the Mac with tab styles will no longer crash OmniOutliner for iPad. These styles are not fully supported yet on the iPad, so round-tripping these files between the Mac and iPad may lose some of the tab settings.</li>
            <li>iDisk is no longer an option under the import and export menus as MobileMe has been discontinued.</li>
            <li>Text editing should now always start when adding a new item to a pop-up column.</li>
            <li>The contents of the Document tab in the Tools popover will now appropriately adjust when the keyboard is brought up.</li>
            <li>Fixed an issue where exporting certain files to HTML would create a file with either no extension or the wrong extension.</li>
            <li>Tapping on the side edges of a document preview will no longer trigger file renaming.</li>
            <li>If a file is imported from another app while OmniOutliner was in file renaming mode at the doc picker, the app will no longer be stuck in renaming mode after returning to the doc picker. </li>
            <li>Restore Sample Document has been renamed to Restore Sample Documents.</li>

OmniOutliner for iPad 1.2.1

OmniOutliner 1.2.1 for iPad fixes a handful of bugs and adds support for Retina displays.

Features

  • Support for Retina displays has been added along with high-resolution versions of the image resources.

Bug Fixes

  • Emailing with the Simple HTML option should once again embed the HTML into the email body when possible, for everyone.
  • Pasting or deleting rows could cause a crash under certain circumstances. This has been resolved.
  • The Clear custom style button should always function properly now.
  • Background colors applied through a named style should once again correctly be removed when the named style is unapplied.
  • Exiting to the document picker while the text style inspector is open during text editing will no longer cause a crash.
  • The text loupe will properly appear above the inspectors in input fields.
