OmniOutliner 2.9 for iOS is a major update that adds the ability to share files from within the document and adds an announcement system.
- Announcements — In-app announcement feature to display notifications from The Omni Group. This feature will only be used to inform users of important information: when a new major version has been released, for example, or if action is required to prevent data loss.
- Sharing — The Share menu is now also available in the toolbar while editing documents to provide quick access to all the export options.
- Text Copy — The plain text representation of copied rows will now use a tab separated format instead of a fixed width.
- Export — The plain text export format will now use a tab separated format instead of a fixed width.
- Outline View — Fixed the animation when showing or hiding a column.
- Styles — Alternate row color will now be layered over row level background colors to match OmniOutliner 4 for Mac.
- Undo — Undo groups will be correctly managed when showing/hiding columns. This was causing some crashes under certain circumstances.
- Outline View — Expanding or collapsing rows while currently editing one should now correctly position the row being editing.
- Attachments — Images can now be pasted as a new row. Previously it would result in the image URL being pasted.
- Stability — Fixed a crash encountered using Undo after theming while a row is being edited.
- Stability — Fixed a crash encountered using Undo multiple times after theming.
- Stability — Fixed a crash using shake to undo that resulted in a layout change while an inspector was open.
- Stability — Fixed a crash that occurred when sometimes moving files to the trash from OmniPresence.
