Status of Omni Apps and iOS 13
We’ve been updating our apps — OmniGraffle, OmniOutliner, OmniPlan, and OmniFocus — for all the great new features in iOS 13, which ships Thursday, Sep. 19.
There are two main steps to this. The first is making sure the current releases of each product are compatible with iOS 13 — that is, there should be no new bugs, and they should work as expected. (Customers still using older 2.x releases can find more information here.)
The second is to adopt new features. You can read more about this in our September 2019 Roadmap Update, but here’s the gist of what we’re adding:
- Native Dark Mode: when you switch the system to Dark Mode, our apps will also appear in Dark Mode.
- Multiple windows: on iPads you can open more than one window per app now, which means you could, for instance, work with two different projects in OmniPlan at a time.
- Standard document browser: by switching to Apple’s standard document browser, our document-based apps give you more flexibility with where you store your documents and how they sync. (This is for OmniPlan, OmniOutliner, and OmniGraffle.)
(We’re adopting other features too, such as context menus, where appropriate.)
Below is the current status of each app. We’ll update this page as things change.
For any apps in TestFlight, you are of course welcome to sign up and help test! We appreciate it.
