My apologies: I'm afraid we will not be able to offer upgrade pricing to our Mac App Store customers after all. So long as we continue to sell our apps through the Mac App Store, we are not allowed to distribute updates through other channels to apps which were purchased from the App Store.
Things are going to get quiet around here for a while. We've learned a lot about what works well for you and what doesn't, and two weeks ago we were also inspired by Apple's latest designs with their emphasis on deference, clarity, and depth. We're looking forward to applying the lessons we've learned, and we'll be back with some fresh builds later this year!
If you’re one of our many customers who want to always have your latest documents available on all your devices, I have good news! We’ve finished our limited private test of OmniPresence and are now beginning a wide-open public test of OmniPresence for Mac.
Here is what OmniPresence looks like in action… and we’d like to enlist your help in testing it!
If you’ve read my most recent blog post about Omni’s Plans for 2013, you already know that we’re just a few weeks away from the debut of OmniFocus 2 for Mac. I’m really looking forward to showing it to you all… but this post isn’t really about OmniFocus 2 itself, it’s about what to expect between now and when it ships.
We’ve been working on making OmniOutliner for iPad accessible, and are ready for some beta testers!
